TSG sharpens its vision to become the textile industryās digital backbone.
Munich, September 1, 2025 ā Textile Solutions Group (TSG), the fast-growing global solution group serving the textile and apparel value chain, today announced the appointment of Anton Hofmeier as its new Group CEO, effective immediately.
TSG is a global leader in software solutions and automation that help textile and garment manufacturers cut production costs, improve on-time delivery, and accelerate their sustainability progress.
With over two decades of leadership in B2B software, Hofmeier brings deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, M&A integration, and digital transformation across supply chain, manufacturing, and industrial technology sectors. Backed by private equity firm Elvaston, TSG is on a mission to become the most complete and scalable digital platform for textile production, from fiber to finished garment.
āWhat makes TSG unique is that we go both broader and deeper than anyone else,ā says Anton Hofmeier. āWe cover every key step of textile production, from design and planning to shopfloor automation, and we do it with solutions built specifically for this industry. Our vision is to become the digital backbone of global textile manufacturing.ā
Q&A with the new CEO: Anton Hofmeier
1. Youāre taking over as CEO. Tell us a bit about your background and what brought you to TSG?
I bring over 20 years of experience in enterprise software, focused on helping companies grow, integrate, and scale across complex industrial environments. My work has always been about turning business challenges into smart, scalable solutions, especially in verticals like manufacturing and supply chain.
With a background in electronic engineering, Iāve always been interested in how digital systems connect with the physical world, especially in MES and shop floor environments. That connection between data, machines, and people has shaped how I approach technology and operations.
What really excites me about TSG is the opportunity to build something that doesnāt exist yet: a truly integrated, digital backbone for the textile industry. Itās a bold vision and one Iām proud to contribute to.
2. Where do you want to take TSG next?
We already have something powerful: specialized companies with market-leading products in CAD, ERP, and MES shopfloor automation, all focused on the textile industry. Now the goal is to turn these capabilities into a connected, cohesive platform, from yarn to garment ā helping our customers plan smarter, run leaner, and grow with confidence.
That means creating more textile solutions based on our products to uncover their full potential for customers, and expanding how we support them globally. It also means continuing to grow through smart acquisitions and partnerships ā both go-to-market and technology partnerships.
But more than anything, I want to strengthen what already makes TSG special: textile-first thinking, hands-on collaboration, and real value for customers.
3. What do you see in the textile market today and whatās the opportunity?
This is a moment of change. Our customers are under pressure: rising energy and material costs, tighter ESG regulations, shorter fashion cycles, and global uncertainty. At the same time, digitalization is no longer optional ā yet many still rely on Excel, manual workarounds, or disconnected systems.
TSG is uniquely positioned to help. We understand this industry. We speak the language of mills, weavers, and garment makers. And we donāt just offer tools, we deliverĀ an integrated, textile-native solution backboneĀ thatās built to simplify complexity, prove progress, and enable growth.
āMy job as CEO is to listen to our customers, learn from our teams, and help unlock the full power of this group, by aligning our products, our people, and our partners around one shared purpose: making textile manufacturing better, together.ā
